Itinerary

Day 1
HYDERABAD - BAGDOGRA[DARJEELING]

Arrive at Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station. You will meet our representative and Check-in at the hotel.

After Freshening up, You will be covering attractions like the Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Ropeway, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, Peace Pagoda, Tea Garden (outer view) and Japanese Temple.

Return to the hotel for dinner and followed by an overnight stay.

Day 2
DARJEELING

Starting the day with an amazing experience, you will be starting early in the morning, at around 4 AM. Climb up to the top of Tiger Hill to catch the sunrise casting golden lights on Kanchenjunga.
Following this experience will be the visit to the famous Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery.
Return and enjoy a delicious breakfast and spend the rest of the day at leisure, followed by an overnight stay.

Day 3
DARJEELING

After breakfast we will leave for Mirik, It takes about two and half hours by car to reach Mirik from Darjeeling which is 49 km away from Darjeeling. It’s a wonderfully scenic drive through tea gardens on hill slopes with lovely mountain landscapes.
Then in about 20 minutes, you will reach a viewpoint called Simana – a 60 feet by 40 feet plateau, Simana which translates to Border in Hindi. This is Indo- Nepal Border area, where the road belongs to India and the viewing area falls in Nepal, From Simana for a long way towards Mirik, the road acts as the divider between India and Nepal.

Further Down, you will reach the Pashupati Market entrance at the Indo-Nepal Border. once you complete the formalities with the border security you will get to the road in Nepal, as you move further towards Mirik, you will come across beautiful landscapes full of tea gardens on your left. This is the Gopaldhara Tea Estate.

12 km from the Market you will reach the small hill town Mirik at an average altitude of 5000ft, after reaching Mirik visit the famous Sumendu Lake, it is a long man-made lake situated at the heart of the quaint hill town of Mirik, Have lunch and Return to the hotel, followed by an overnight stay.

Day 4
DARJEELING - GANGTOK

After breakfast drive to Gangtok, land of unspoiled natural beauty with alpine landscapes, thick luxuriant forests, rivers in torrent and peaceful lakes. On arrival, check into a hotel. For rest of the day visit the famous Institute of Tibetology and proceed to Dordul, Chorten Stupa, Banjhakri waterfalls and a flower show in this region. Get ready for an exhilarating ropeway ride. followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5
EXCURSION – TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR

Take early breakfast and proceed to magnificent Tsangu Lake. In case the lake is unapproachable due to bad weather conditions proceed to Namachi village. This tiny hamlet situated between the verdant hills at the height of 5,500 ft exhibits the most spectacular view of the Himalayan range and its snow-kissed mountains on one side and expansive stretches of the deep green valley on the other side A panoramic view you will never forget. Visit baba Mandir which is situated at 13,500 feet altitude. Get back to the hotel by evening. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6
GANGTOK - NAMCHI CHARDHAM (South Sikkim)

After breakfast, proceed to Namchi Chardham (South Sikkim) an 80 km drive that takes 1.5 hrs.

The mammoth statue of Guru Padmasambhava atop the Samdruptse hill Claimed without dispute that the 135 feet statue of Guru Padmasambhava was constructed at the statue of Guru Padma Shambhava at Samdruptse Hill, Namchi, Sikkim.

CHARDHAM

This unique Pilgrim Centre has the main temple of 108 feet height on which is based the 87 feet high statue of Lord Shiva on the sitting posture at the Solophok Hill. Apart from the Shiva statue, this Pilgrim Centre also has replicas of the twelve Jyotirlingas, to offer one platform for Shiva devotees. Colophon Chardham Lord Shiva incarnated as Kirateshwar in Indrakeel (Present Sikkim). Therefore, in this incarnation, he is locally worshipped by the people of Sikkim as Lord Kirateshwar. A statue of 16 1/2 feet height of Lord Kirateshwar is also installed in the complex. In order to attain Moksha, the Hindu belief is to perform pilgrimage to all the existing four Dhams. Thereby, replicas of these four Dhams, namely Badrinath, Jaganath and Dwarka dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Rameshwar, dedicated to Lord Shiva is also constructed.

Get back to the hotel by evening. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7
GANGTOK - BAGDOGRA[DARJEELING]

After breakfast drive to Bagdogra airport or NJP railway station for reaching your onward destination.
